Estar Cohen is comedian, improviser, actor, musician, and writer based in Detroit, MI and Brooklyn, NY. She is a regular performer at Planet Ant Theater, the Independent Comedy Club, and Go Comedy! Improv Theater. Along with comedy duo partner, Adam Hirzel, Estar is the co-creator of The Adam and Estar Show! an interactive musical comedy show featuring sketch, standup, and improv. Estar, Adam, and pianist Josh Silver make up Jeff For No Reason, a highly original off-kilter musical improv troupe with a monthly residency at Detroit’s longest running improv show, Monday Night Improv at Planet Ant. In addition to stand up and sketch, Estar’s satirical writing has been featured in Ugly Magazine.
